We spent our turkey day in Lake Tahoe, Nevada where a friend of ours has a vacation home. Lake Tahoe is a freshwater lake in an area known as the Sierra Nevada. Two thirds of the shoreline is in California, and one third is in Nevada. Tahoe is the highest lake in the United States and the largest alpine lake in North America.
